Welcome

Dear Friends,
We are so pleased to address you as friends.  Most of you are well aware of the efforts that our group has invested over the last ten years, in restoring special recognition to our organization's namesake, Col. H Weir Cook.  Also, most of you are aware, that our tribute to Col. Cook is symbolic recognition of all who have served, and especially those who gave their lives, throughout the history of America's military air forces.  Our tribute to Col. Cook also serves as symbolic recognition for the many insightful and courageous men and women who served our country, especially in Indiana in pioneering and development of general aviation, from the very early days of the last century.

We count you as friend, because so many of you gave us encouragement, and support, in our efforts to complete phase one and two.  We could not have accomplished those goals without your help!

We are pleased to acknowledge the Indianapolis International Airport Authority for having designated a special area inside the new terminal building, that is reserved for display of historical aviation pioneering items. Our objective during the year is to install what we believe are needed and appropriate centerpiece items for this memorial area. We have been in the research and planning process for several months, and are working closely with officials of the IIAPA.

We would deeply appreciate any financial support that your organization can provide.  We do have appropriate certificate receipts for organizations and individuals that are intrested in helping our cause. Support from folks like you has shown us that there are many good citizens who share our desire to remember our military heroes, and our aviation pioneers.
